U.S. Women’s Open Qualifying to Serve as Trials for PBA Women’s Series

Liz Johnson looks to defend her U.S. Women’s Open title next month in Romeoville, Ill.

Seattle, WA - July 11, 2008

The U.S. Women's Open, a USBC event, will return this summer and will once again determine the field for the PBA Women’s Series. The qualifying scores from the event, which features the world's best women bowlers, will also serve as the PBA Women’s Tour Trials.

Women's Series to Return in 2008-09
	The PBA Women's Series, presented by USBC, will return for the 2008-09 Denny's PBA Tour season with at least seven events. The Women's Series field will be primarily determined through the PBA Women's Tour Trials, which uses the qualifying scores from the U.S. Women's Open. Full Story...
