This 39 foot pattern allows for a greater buffing distance, resulting in less oil placed at the end of the pattern. The result of this design is a lane pattern in constant transition requiring bowlers to make significant adjustments and to use their creativity in attacking the pattern from lane to lane. These performance qualities were the hallmarks of the great career of Dick Weber.
