An 18-time Tour champion, Hardwick was named the PBA Player of the Year in 1963 and 1969. After not cashing in his 1962 rookie season, he returned in 1963 to win four tournaments. He captured his first tournament in 1963. Won the inaugural Tournament of Champions in 1965. Won multiple titles on three different occasions, that included a career-best six in 1969 which included the BPAA All-Star. Ranked 12th on 2009 list of 50 Greatest Players in PBA History.
